She lost all her three children in the crash |
Today December 10th 2013 marks exactly 8 years since the Sosoliso plane crash that claimed the lives of 107 Nigerians, mostly those of the students of the
Loyola Jesuit College, Abuja. As we remember the departed, i decided to pen down a poem to commemorate their memories;
8 years and your beautiful memories are still livid in our hearts. We lost families, friends and fellow country men that day, but worst of all we lost the promising lives of future leaders in the making.
We would never forget the pains and sorrows this sad event brought our nation, the deaths that were as a result of Negligence and human incapability’s. I know you all are up there somewhere above watching us and smiling for how well we have carried on so far. Every day the space of your demise fills us with a hope that someday, in a time God wishes we would be together to part no more.
Dear friends, I would not be blogging for the next four hours to pay homage to the dear ones lost in this plane crash. Please bear with me and remember to say a prayer for them too. God bless you all.
