In case you didn't know, Dada Marquis is one of the very first female architects in Nigeria, She turned 70 two weeks ago and to mark the event she held a very classy party at her private home in Victoria Island, Lagos.... and like a whirl wind got married to her lover Gaby Yadua barely 2 days later!
Gaby Yadua the groom who is also rich and a Lagos socialite is a grandfather, just like Ms Marquis who is also a grandmother. The 76 year old Gaby who hails from Edo State, once held a high managerial position in Guinness Nigeria Plc. Notwithstanding his age, he is the toast of many big society ladies owing to his good look, charm and financial status! Before marrying Dada, he was in an affair with the former Lagos State Permanent Secretary, Ms Deorike Durosimi-Etti.
The sweet thing about their wedding, was that the invitation cards for her 70th birthday indicated that it was going to be a double celebration! It actually read the marriage of Dada and her “Lover Boy”, Gabby...lol. The wedding which was a very private affair held on Sunday, 16th February, 2014 and had the elites of the Lagos society present. The elites being talked about here are not just those who are rich oh! But the rich and reputable families of Lagos!
