Controversy has trailed this Lazio player, as fans refused to believe he was 17 years old as he claimed! Although originally from Cameroon, Joseph Minala joined the Italian giants in December 2013. Fans believe he lied about his age. They allege that he is in his early 30's instead of 17 as he claimed. This pushed the Midfielder into sharing a photo of his passport which showed his birth date on Instagram. This act still did not satisfy the fans, as the bashing continued, eventually pushing him into shutting down his social media accounts! However, before deleting his Facebook account,he tweeted;
"Envy is the weakness of man, and those with a poor soul hurt others when you are in Serie A. Love you! Forza Lazio." Joseph tweeted after deleting his Facebook page.
