I'm so confused as i type this, what have we not done? My child is addicted to masturbation. This is not the first time. We've caught her twice before. The first time we caught her, i gave her the beating of her life, thinking she would change. I even took her to our family pastor, who prayed over her and prescribed 14 days fasting and midnight prayers from the spirit of lust, which we all did. About a month later i walked in on her doing it one early morning. it truely breaks my heart as i type this because she is all i have, and what i have to live for. I have sat her down, had a heart to herat talk with her but she still refuses to fully open up, to me.
Just yesterday again i caught her, i peeped throught the key hole of the bathroom to see her doing the disgusting thing again. I peeped only after hearing funny noises which got me curios. Why would God punish me with this sort of atrocity? My child has been a good girl all along, but since this phase started har grades have almost hit ground 0. She no longer communictaes with me as before and is always vile. It is really getting me worried and as the day passes i become more perplexed. I am already finding it hard to live through life as single mum, now this issue comes to burden me. Please fellow blog readers, is there a permananet remedy to stop my child from mastubarting, does she need psychiatric evaluation?
