
The family of Nigeria's senate president, Senator David Mark is bereaved due to the loss of one of its own Mrs. Mary Onma-Adakole, who died during childbirth at the age of 35.
A statement by Mark’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr. Kola Ologbondiyan, yesterday confirmed the sad event and quoted the late Onma-Adakole’s younger brother, Mr. Igoche Mark, saying that the deceased would be buried in her home town, Otukpo, Benue State, today.
Mark described his late sister;
"as a straight forward, hardworking and benevolent with plenty of vision and hope for a greater tomorrow."So far, the Deputy Senate Ike Ekweremadu, Senate leader Victor Ndoma-Egba , his Deputy Abdul Ningi, Senators Ifeanyi Okowa, Suleiman Adokwe, James Manager, Andy Uba, Ayogu Eze, State Governor Gabriel Suswam, Aviation Minister Stella Oduah, Petroleum’s Deziani Madueke, Water Resources’ Sarah Ochekpe, Interior’s Comrade Abba-Moro as well as Minister of State, Trade and Investment Dr. Sam Ortom are among those who have paid a condolence visit to the Mark’s family.
