Meanwhile, for the past two days since his appointment as the new Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, has been operating as a king from the government house and not the palace! It would be recalled that even the tubarnning ceremony held at the government house instead of the palace as it had been done from with previous emirs!
Sanusi is said to have stayed in the Government house to prevent him from being arrested, where he's still even residing presently!
Reputable Nigerians who came to pay him homage, such as Aliko Dagote, Edo State Governor, Imo State Governor and few others, all did so at the Kano state government house since he is yet to resume office... Congrats to the new Emir of Kano.
