According to Sahara Reporters, all hell broke loose in Maidugri the capital of Borno state when a Soldier reportedly shot dead a Tricycle (Keke Napep) Driver at the West-end Roundabout in the city. Angry youths in Maiduguri took to the streets making bonfires and blocking major roads over the incident, the youths chased after the soldier, who eventually escaped. They barricaded all roads in the customs, Kashim Ibrahim and Post office area leading to panic in the city. More photos below;
