Home of Former Imo State Governor Rocked by Bomb Blast!

In what could best described as shocking, the Owerri residence of the immediate past governor of Imo state, Chief Ikedi Ohakim was rocked by a massive bomb blast in the early hours of this morning, Thursday May 5th! It is believed that the highly explosive devices were planted by his political detractors at his residence.
The former governor who was broken, wept bitterly not minding the the people who had gathered, claimed it was the only building he only building he owned in the state. The Ex governor also revealed that he got a call from some security details in the area at about 1:30am in the morning informing him of the incident. He alleged that some roofs were pulled off from the outside of the lobby before the bombs were thrown inside the building.
The Nigerian Police in Imo State have confirmed the incident and are currently investigating it.
